Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 12, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Octane Solutions (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with Octane POS Fleet Monitor (“the Service”). The Service is an internal business tool used by authorized personnel. This policy explains the limited categories of data we collect and how we protect it.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information for authorized users, such as name, email address, and role assignment.
  • Usage information generated while signed in, such as timestamps of actions performed within the Service for audit purposes.
  • Information from connected integrations that the user explicitly authorizes, limited to the minimum necessary to provide the requested functionality.

3. Google user data

If a user chooses to connect a Google account, Octane POS Fleet Monitor requests only the permissions strictly required to perform the requested functionality. Any access to Google user data is initiated and authorized by the user through Google’s standard consent screen.

Octane POS Fleet Monitor’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not allow humans to read it (except as required for security, legal compliance, or with the user’s explicit consent), and do not use it for any purpose other than the feature the user authorized.

4. How we use information

Information is used solely to operate, secure, and maintain the Service and to provide the features that authorized users request. We do not use personal information for marketing or advertising.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties except where required by law or with the user’s explicit consent.

6. Data security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to the Service is restricted to authorized accounts and all traffic is transmitted over encrypted connections.

7. Data retention and deletion

Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service or to comply with legal obligations. Users may disconnect integrations at any time, and may revoke previously granted Google permissions directly from their Google Account permissions page. To request deletion of personal data, contact us at the email below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
